Lace up your boots, and strap on a backpack for a five-week hike across northern Spain. We’ll start in France and follow the ancient pilgrimage trail called the Camino Francés. We’ll cross the Pyrenees mountains, and then travel all across Spain to the historic city of Santiago de Compostela. And then, we’ll keep going to the ocean, to the town the ancient Romans named Finisterre — which means “the end of the world.”
Not content, we’ll come back in a year and do a second, more remote and difficult route — the Camino del Norte — that hugs wild stretches of the Atlantic coastline for hundreds of miles. Together, we'll cover 1,100 miles on foot. Tom Connell will guide you every step of the way on this epic adventure, in a journal complete with keen insights, rollicking stories and hundreds of photographs.
